Solid Silver Cookware - 12.5" Saute

from $16,000.00

The ultimate cookware…? Quite likely. I have been in pursuit of the ultimate piece of cookware for years. With this iteration - I very well may have found it.

Silver has the highest heat conductivity of ANY element. It’s even better than copper in this important attribute. What about Gold? No. Platinum? No. Silver is the metal with the best heat conductivity - translating to the ultimate technical cooking experience.

A solid silver pan also eliminates the need for a lining. Our COPPER cookware needs a lining to separate the food from the copper. Traditionally, a tin-lining is used, and we also use silver-linings on copper pans to approach near perfection - however - both of these linings will eventually wear away and need to be restored. The solid silver pan eliminates the lining, eliminates the worry and eliminates the need for periodic restoration. You are cooking directly on solid silver.

The result is a stunningly sensuous custom product that ensures a remarkably even distribution of heat - a high-performance pan of unparalleled beauty.

To achieve a strong, lasting utensil, I use sterling silver to craft these pans.  Sterling silver is the standard for functional items created in silver as it resists bending and denting.  Flatware, teapots, napkin rings, etc. are all made from sterling silver.  Our pans will all be stamped "Sterling" ensuring their purity and authenticity.

The Handle.  I have added a hand-sewn, black leather grip. Handsome. Unexpected. Exquisite.

The Rivets.  These massive, sterling silver rivets are individually hand-turned on a lathe from 3/4" silver rod.  Solid silver rivets will never expose a base metal of copper or brass like a silver-plated rivet.

Return on investment.  Lastly, as you may know, the market price for silver changes on a daily basis.  A few years ago, the price for silver spiked over 3x the market price today.  So, solid silver cookware is certainly an investment in precious metals.  If the price of silver should triple in the future, the value of your pans will absolutely increase as well.

Are these pieces a statement?  Absolutely - but they are also technically superior to any other cookware.  Their purpose can be twofold.  For those desiring the ultimate decorative kitchen item, they can be purchased as engraved presentation pieces that will retain their beauty and pristine look.  Or - they can be used every day...and used hard.  They will lose their luster, become scratched and take on your character - but they will never fail you as a cooking tool, delivering the finest culinary results.
